Introduction
The Plan I Speak Of Is The Plan Of God For Salvation.
It Involves God's Grace, Grafting and Glory
1. The Plan For Me You And
The Jew Too! Involves
God's Grace. 11:1-10
A. God's Saving Grace In The . . Past. 11:1-5
1. Illustrated In Paul. 11:1
1 I say then,
has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an
Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2. Illustrated In Elijah.
11:2-4
2 God has not
cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know
what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against
Israel, saying, 3 "Lord, they
have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am
left, and they seek my life"? 4 But what does the divine response say
to him? "I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men
who have not bowed the knee to Baal." (Plus the Women and Children)
B. God's Saving Grace In The . . Present Time. 11:5-10
1. The Present Time Then and Now. 11:5
5 Even so then, at this present
time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
a. A Remnant
Then.
b. A Remnant
Now.
Art Monk's Testimony at the Football Hall of Fame
Induction.
2. At All Times It Is Grace.
a. According To God's Grace . .
Message. 11:6
1) Grace
Defined. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works;
otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no
longer grace; otherwise
work is no longer work.
a) Only Two Religions in the World-Grace-Works
b.
According To God's Grace . . Method. 11:7
7 What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks;
but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
1) Blinded by
their works, can't be that easy
c. According
To God's . . Grace Mission. 11:8-10
8 Just as it is written: "God has given them a
spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears that they
should not hear, To this very day."
9 And David says:" Let their table become a snare
and a trap, A stumbling block and a recompense to them. 10 Let their
eyes be darkened,
so that they do not see, And bow down their back
always."
1) So Involved In Traditions Etc..

A church dismissed their pastor. A deacon in another church ask, "why
did you dismiss your
pastor." The answer came "because he preached people without Christ are
going to hell." Well
they called a new pastor. And the same deacon asked, "what does your
new pastor preach." The
answer came, "he preaches people without Christ are going to hell."
Well the deacon asked what
is the difference? The answer came the old pastor preached it in anger.
While our new pastor
preaches it with a broken heart."
Application
It should bother all of us that some people are boastful in their
rejection of Christ. They are on
their well to a devils hell. Where are our tears?
2. The Plan For Me You And The Jew
Too! Involves
God's Grafting. 11:11-24
A. The . . Reason For Grafting. 11:11-15
1. For Provocation For . .
Jews. 10:11-13
11 I say then,
have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But
through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to
the Gentiles. 12
Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for
the Gentiles, how
much more their fullness! 13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I
am an apostle to
the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,
2. The Provocation For . .
Jealousy. 10:14-15
14 if by any
means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and
save some of them. 15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling
of the world, what will their
acceptance be but life from the dead?

In preparing for this sermon I read of a
pastor who had this experience. In High School A very attractive girl
invited
him to the Prom. He was pleased but very surprised. He asked, "I
thought you were going Mr BMOC." She said,
"he is taking someone else." Well at the prom she keep ushering her
date to where the BMOC could see her with her
date. Finally Mr BMOCcame over and cut in, then he took her over to a
far side and they had a long talk. She then came over and said, "I
hope you don't mind but I am leaving with Mr BMOC. She had used this to
be preacher just to make Mr BMOC
jealous. In a way God used the Gentiles to stir up jealously.
B. The . . Results Of Grafting. 11:16-17
16 For if the firstfruit is holy,
the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17
And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild
olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker
of the root and fatness of the olive tree,
1. The Lump Is Abraham. v 16a
2. The Root Is Jesus. v 16b
3. The Broken Off Branches Are Jews. v
17a
4. The Wild Olive Tree Is the Gentiles. v
17b
5. Gentiles Are Partakers of the Root. (Jesus) v 17c
C. The . . Reminder Of Grafting. 11:18-24
1. Reminder About . . Boasting. 11:18-19
a. Focus on Jesus.
18 do not
boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do
not support the root, but the root supports you.
2. Reminder About Grafting. 11:19-20
19 You will say then, "Branches
were broken off that I might be grafted in." 20 Well said. Because of
unbelief they were broken off, and you stand
by faith. Do not be haughty, but
fear.
3. Reminder About Goodness. 11:21-2
a. Present Grafting. 11:21-22
21 For if God
did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22
Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God:
on
thhse who
fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His
goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
b. Future
Grafting. 11:23-24
23 And they
also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God
is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut out of the
olive tree
which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a
cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural
branches, be
grafted
into their own olive tree? NKJV

One of our fine
evangelist during the middle of the 20th century Hyman
Appleman (A Converted
Jew) told of meeting periodically with an old friend (A Jewish Man).
The old friend could not
understand Hyman's persistence in his work as an evangelist. He said
Hyman "why don't you
quit." Hyman said to his friend "what do you do with your time" and the
friend said "I count my
coupons and my dividend" and laughed. Hyman asked "what will you do
next year" and the
friend said "I'll count more coupons and my dividend". Hyman then said
"what then". This went
on for several rounds and finally the friend said "well eventually I
will die". Hyman said "what
then". The friend said "I don't know about what then". Hyman said well
that is when I start
counting my dividends and coupons." He was a Jewish Man included in
God's Salvation.
Application
The Plan For Me You And The Jew Too! Involves God's Grafting.
3. The Plan For
Me You And The Jew Too! Involves God's . .
Glory. 11:25-29
A. God's Glory
And The . . Fullness For Gentiles. 11:25
25 For I do not
desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be
wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to
Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
1. This Is A Mystery. v 25a
2. Human Wisdom Alone Will Not Teach This
Truth.
3. Gentiles Will Be Prominent Until The Rapture.
4. Fullness Refers To Completion. v 25b
5. God does Know How Many Will Be Saved.
Suppose God did not know! Look at John 14:2-3
C. God's Glory
And The . . Father's Of Israel. 11:27-29
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take
away their sins." 28 Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your
sake, but concerning the election they
are beloved for the sake of the fathers. 29 For the
gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. NKJV
Jer 31:33-34 33 But
this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after
those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write
it
on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his
brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they all shall know Me, from the
least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will
forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." NKJV
Conclusion Rv
19:11-16
11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat
on him was called
Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His eyes were like a flame
of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that
no one knew except
Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is
called The Word of
God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and
clean, followed Him on white
horses.
15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should
strike the nations.
And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the
winepress of the
fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on
His thigh a name
written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. NKJV
One of the first things the returning Christ will do, is destroy the armies of the earth gathered against the city of Jerusalem. These armies will suddenly go from heroes to zeros! Looking up, seeing King Jesus the mighty deliverer with His massive military sweeping down out of the heavens, they will be utterly destroyed. Millions will die! The Antichrist will be forcefully taken and thrown into the lake of fire, and the devil will be thrown into the bottomless pit, where he is kept prisoner there for 1000 years. It is at this time, that Israel, seeing Jesus' return in great power and glory, will be saved!
What a moment in time, when Israel shall see Jesus and be saved! Have you had your moment in time? Are you saved? Are you ready for the Judgment Day? 2
